Patricia Tiehel Obituary

Patricia Anne Tiehel, (nee Armstrong), aka "P.T.", "The Queen, " or "Patsy," 80, of Ridley Park PA and Chestertown, MD, joined many of her favorite people in Heaven on March 10, 2022. She was sent into the ether listening to her favorite song, Brown Eyed Girl, and a round of Manhattans, made exactly as she liked them. Originally from Holmes, PA, P.T. was an accomplished piano player appearing on the Horn and Hardart Children's Show as a child. She attended Ridley High School, Class of '59, and remained involved with her classmates over the decades. She graduated from West Chester State Teacher's College, Class of '63, and was a substitute teacher in Delaware County. She ultimately found her passion in real estate with a successful career spanning decades, eventually becoming a Regional Vice President for Long and Foster Real Estate. She won many awards including President's Club, Manager of the Year, and Best Real Estate Office/Best in Delco. P.T. was everybody's Mom; to know her was to be loved by her, helped by her, and made to feel special. Donating to more charities than her kids can count, P.T. had a soft spot for the underdog. Last, she'd like to know if you've "ever thought about getting into real estate?" Predeceased by her parents Charles and Sophie Armstrong, and her brother Charles Armstrong. Survivors: Husband of 58 years, Robert Charles Tiehel, daughters, Tamara Stedman, Amy Tiehel (David), and Tricia Tiehel, grandchildren Sophie Stedman, Annabelle Stedman, Carter Stedman and many other family and friends.
