Joseph Spinelli, 42, of Silver Spring passed away on April 30, 2025, after a long battle with Cancer. He is survived by his wife Janelle Spinelli and children Gio, Ariana, and Layla, Anthony Spinelli a student at the University of Maryland, Joey Spinelli a student at the Culinary Institute of America in New York, and two stepsons Ian and Marley at home. He's also survived by parents Joe and Vicki Spinelli of Grasonville, Maryland and a sister, Licia Gliptis of Columbia, Maryland. Joe loved taking his children yearly to the theme parks and beaches of Florida. His family was the number one priority in his life. Recently Joe spent hours on an online Cancer group encouraging other Cancer patients with Cancer information and his deep faith.

Funeral Services will be held on May 31 at Fellows Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home in Chester, Maryland 106 Shamrock Road Chester MD 21619. A gathering will begin at 1:00 pm and the service will be held at 2:00 pm.
