Jaron Parr Obituary
December 20, 1989 - March 29, 2025
Jaron William Parr, born on December 20, 1989, in Sierra Vista, AZ, passed away unexpectedly on March 29, 2025, in Glendale, AZ.
Jaron earned degrees from Cochise College and Northern Arizona University, completing a master's in Social Work. His dedication to education reflected a commitment to his chosen field.
He is deeply missed by his three-year-old son, Dalton William Parr; and life-partner, Danielle Barcelo. Jaron is also remembered by his mother, Elizabeth Singleton; father, Aaron Parr; sister, Jennifer Parr; and extended family. He is predeceased by his grandmother, Pearl O'Niell, a long-term and well-known resident of Sierra Vista.
A memorial service will be held on May 2, 2025, at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd., Peoria, AZ. Friends and relatives are invited to gather at 5 p.m., with the service beginning at 6 p.m.

A friend reminded me that back in 1989 Jaron was an uncommon name. The Herald accidentally published the birth of "Jarzon". They printed a correction, but it
His name was an ongoing problem for the kid. His first few school years, on day one, the teacher would call out, "Jason Parr?" He would answer, " My name is Jaron, J-a-r-o-n."
