Julia "Judy" Brown

1950 - 2025

Julia "Judy" A. Brown, of Hereford, AZ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the age of 75.
Born on March 25, 1950, in Emporia, KS, Judy was the beloved daughter of Pauline and Marvin Crail. She grew up alongside her siblings, Caroline Clark and her surviving twin sister, Janice Pursell, and her husband, Terry Pursell.
Judy married Stephen Brown on April 12, 1969, and together they built a loving family. She is survived by their two children, Scott Brown and Amy (Brown) Moss. Judy was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A graduate of Emporia High School, Judy dedicated much of her life to being a devoted housewife. Though she primarily cared for the home, she was always a helping hand in her husband's business endeavors.
In 1980, Judy and Stephen relocated to Arizona, where they made their permanent home. She was passionate about the outdoors and had a deep love for hunting, horses, and nature. Judy also enjoyed cooking, woodworking, and spending cherished time with friends and family.
Judy entered eternal rest surrounded by love. Her memory will live on through the many lives she touched with her warmth, generosity, and adventurous spirit.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 1 p.m. at The Old Door Shop. All who knew and loved Judy are welcome to attend and share in remembering her remarkable life.
