Marie Balzarini Obituary
April 16, 1933 - December 10, 2024
Marie Balzarini was born on Easter Sunday, April 16, 1933, to Alda and Julius Eutizzi of Iron Mountain, MI. She had two sisters, Jeanette (deceased) and Julie, both of Iron Mountain, MI, and a brother, Nicky, of Seattle, WA. In 1970, Marie and her husband, Charles Balzarini, moved to Sierra Vista, where they raised their two daughters. Charles preceded her in death on October 22, 2016.
Marie is survived by two daughters: Nicole Balzarini of Sierra Vista, AZ and Cristina Mullen of Providence Village, TX. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Connor Nelson, Noelle Watkins, Sabrina Carreon, and Michaela Heredia; and one great-grandchild, Westyn James Heredia. Just prior to her passing, Marie learned that she would soon be a great-grandmother again, expecting another little boy due in June. Marie found peace in the knowledge of her passing and did what she could to prepare her family for this loss.
Marie was an optimistic person with a wonderful sense of humor. She was deeply grateful.

This obit is incomplete and I don't know why. Services for Mom will be January 17, 2025 at 10:30 AM at St Andrews Catholic Church and interment will follow at the veteran's Cemetary at noon. In accordance with Mom's wishes, family, friends, and neighbors are encouraged to wear bright, cheerful colors rather than black. She wanted us to celebrate her life rather than mourn her passing. In lieu of flowers, consider donating to the Wounded Warrior Project or Guiding Eyes for the Blind which were 2 of her favorite charities.

What a wonderful lady! It was always enjoyable meeting with her for our annual tax meeting. She sure loved her children and grandchildren. She will be missed.

I was Marie's plumber for many years. Always a kind and thoughtful person. I had felt that something was amiss these past days and when I saw her obit I knew. I will miss her, her kind words, her presence, all this I will miss. My heartfelt condolences to her surviving family. Life must go on, as will her memory I have of her in my life. God bless.
