Doris M. Willis, 79, of Florence, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, at ECM Hospital.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, from 9:30-11 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church. A mass of Christian burial will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jacob Amos, O.S.B., officiating.

Mrs. Willis was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, and four brothers.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth H. Willis Sr., of Florence, Alabama; children, Susan D. Brewer, of Grapevine, Texas, Bonnie J. Seeley, of Yokota Air Base, Japan, and Kenneth H. Willis Jr., of Florence; brothers, Earl and Paul Quimby; sister, Norma Lee Cornelius; grandchildren, Vicki McCoy, of Royce City, Texas, Kenneth Hepner, of McKinney, Texas, Heidi Fridinger, of Forney, Texas, Darlene Seeley, of Dallas, Texas, and Michael Willis, of Florence, Alabama; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Averi McCoy and Tyler, Matthew, Josh, and Ashley Fridinger.

Active pallbearers will be Kenneth Hepner, Kevin Fridinger, Scott McCoy, Sammy Martin, James Myrick, and Michael Willis.

Honorary pallbearers will be Byron Yocom, Kenneth Willis Jr., and Earl Quimby.
