F. Fromme Obituary

F. William "Bill" Fromme, 60, of Grantfork, passed away at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009, at his residence.
Bill was born Oct. 18, 1948, the son of Francis and Thelma LeBeau Fromme. He married Karen Leach in 1988 in Madison County.
Bill graduated from New Berlin High School and earned an Associates Degree from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. He retired from Hubbell Incorporated where he was a management information systems director. Bill was a true outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting and camping. He enjoyed reading and working logic puzzles.
Bill was preceded in death by his grandparents; a sister-in-law, Gail Barfuss; and two brothers-in-law, Jim Couch and Jack Loving.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; his three children, Tina Fromme of Fairview Heights and Becky and Ray Fromme of Grantfork; his siblings, Suzanne (Steve) Colyer, Kathy Loving, Mary Lee (Tom) Staley, Bob (Debbie) Fromme, John (Debra) Fromme, Joe (Joyce) Fromme, Maggie Fromme, Tom Fromme, Teresa (Ron) Varns and Nancy (Scott Hileman) Fromme; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at McCullough-Delaney and Butler Funeral Home, 714 E. Gibson St, New Berlin. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. on Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 404 E. Birch St., New Berlin, with the Rev. Angel Sierra, celebrant. My sympathy goes out to family and friends of Bill. I worked with Bill years ago at Hubbell-Killark. We shared stories about hunting and fishing (He loved pheasant hunting). He was a true outdoorsman, and a very kind man to all who knew him.
