Frances Johnisee Obituary
Roodhouse - Frances Elaine Johnisee, 75, of Roodhouse, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital. She was born October 15, 1947, in Jacksonville the daughter of George Jr. and F. Edith Herrin Birdsell. She married Terry Johnisee on March 18, 1977, in Jacksonville and he preceded her in death on March 25, 2019.
She is survived by her children, Troy Eugene (Donna Jean) Johnisee of Roodhouse, Danny Joe (Jo Ellen) Johnisee of Hillview, Pamela Charlene Anslyn of Roodhouse, and Traci Lynn (Jerry) Rawe of Greenfield; 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one brother, Kenneth Joe (Linda) Birdsell of Jacksonville.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, George "Bud" Birdsell and William "Bill" Birdsell, and one sister, Patty Ann Stout.
Elaine worked many different jobs including at the Jacksonville Bowling Alley, Capps Factory, Coates Five and Dime, and Jones House in Roodhouse. She liked to spend her time playing bingo, crocheting, and cooking.
A private service will be held with burial at Jacksonville East Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences may be left online at www.airsman-hires.com.
