Gregory Ginder Obituary
Jacksonville - Gregory Lee "Greg" Ginder, 44, of Chatham, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, March 25, 2024. He was born August 8, 1979, in Jacksonville the son of Gary and Joyce Denney Ginder.
Greg is survived by his parents of Jacksonville, one brother, David (Mallory) Ginder of Jacksonville, one niece, Sophia Ginder of Jacksonville, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Richard L. Denney and Thelma E. Denney, and paternal grandparents Wayne and Ruth Ginder.
Greg graduated from Jacksonville High School and Southern Illinois University in Carbondale with a degree in Finance and Business. He was employed for many years as a commodities broker for F.C. Stone in St. Louis. His last employment was with CHS at Lowder as a grain merchandiser. He was involved in the family farm during planting and harvesting.
A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville, with burial at Arcadia Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 10-12 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Morgan County 4-H.
