Jack Lashmett Obituary

Jack A. Lashmett
Jacksonville - Jack A. Lashmett, 89, of Jacksonville, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Memorial Hospital in Springfield, surrounded by his family.

Jack was known for his quick wit and his ability to fix any piece of equipment or engineer a solution to any problem. He loved being in the cab of any piece of equipment, earning a reputation for his operating skills and expertise. I am sorry I missed the funeral. Taking Geri to Linda's house every December for the last few years for lunch w/ the siblings - it was both good education and entertainment, having a conversation w/ Uncle Jack. I am sorry we didn't have more of those.
