Dear Cherie and family,
Bob and I would like to extend our deepest sympathies. Humble, kind, and a devoted family man are words that I would use to describe John. Sadly, another member of the greatest generation gone. Well done John, rest in peace.

I am sorry for the family's loss. I met Mr. Ridder as a resident of Cedarhurst, where my mother also lives. I learned he was a friend of my Dad, Jack Yording, when they were in school together in Jacksonville. He was always very pleasant & loved to sit ( & nap) outside whenever he had the chance. He was always present for Sunday Sundae! He will surely be missed, but is now resting in peace.
