Born: October 16, 1947, Died: February 29th, 2024
On February 29th, at 10:00pm, Judith Marie (Keller) Points passed away peacefully in her native home town of Bismarck, North Dakota. For those of you who knew Judy, she always missed her brothers & sisters dearly, and wanted to spend her senior years with them at home in Bismarck. Even though Judy raised her three children in Jacksonville, Il., her family always managed to see each other often.
Her three children include; Korry Kleingartner of Jacksonville, IL, Sean (Melissa) Kleingartner of Springfield, IL, and Darcy (Jason) Vest of Valmeyer, IL.
Through Keith Points, Judy enjoyed her time with his son and family Torrey (Alisha) Points of Auburn, IL.
Mom enjoyed spending time going camping, playing board games, front porch sitting with a Diet Coke, road trips down to Darcy's taking grandkids with her, watching them swim, play football, volleyball, cheerleading, making more pies on Thanksgiving than anyone could ever eat, and over feeding all of them. The grand kids all remembered and enjoyed sleep overs at grandmas.
The grandkids include; Ashley Jobe, Evan Kleingartner, Ryan Kleingartner, Jordan Vest, Peyton Vest, Kendall Vest, Andrew Vest, Seth (Holly) Points, Sydney Points, and Drew Points. Judy's four brothers and sisters survive; Peggy Prasek, of Mandan, ND, Jerome Keller of Bismarck, ND, Marge (Doug) TeKippe, of Fort Collins, CO, and Michael Keller of Bismarck, ND. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mom's 25 plus year career at John Deere Life brought our mother a lifetime of memories and many friends throughout the Jacksonville community. Judy always looked forward to Sundays and going to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and spending a few minutes with Paster Woodworth.
Mom enjoyed visiting her kids back in Illinois when she did finally move back to Bismarck in the fall of 2022. Mom came back and spent a week with all three kids and those memories will never be forgotten. The three of us were able to get to Bismarck before Mom's passing, and she was surrounded by her entire family and went very peacefully. Prayers for family comfort in our time of grief.

I so admired, respected and loved your mom, Judy Points. I worked with her at John Deere. I am so sorry for your loss. Judy was a wonderful lady. I will miss her. Our deepest sympathy to the family.

I worked with Judy for many years at John Deere. Enjoyed many lunches and dinners out with her (and a few cocktails!). We also saw a lot of the Harry Potter and Twilight movies at the theater together. We had lost touch the last few years, but she will be missed by all who knew her. I am so sorry for your loss.
