Johnny Clay Points, 54, of Kaufman, TX passed away on October 28, 2024. He was born on December 11, 1969 to JD and Marjorie Points in Dallas, TX. He grew up in Dallas, graduating from W.W. Samuell High School. Johnny worked as a HVAC and plumbing technician for 20 years for Dalco Air Conditioning and Plumbing. On December 7, 2012, he married Kelli Points, whom he deeply treasured and loved. He enjoyed drinking ice-cold beer with family and friends at the dirt track. He loved dirt track racing, fishing, and camping with his family. Johnny liked to pace in circles in the yard or to the end of the driveway, while talking on the phone, a quirk his family found humorous. He loved his dog, Dallas, which was very protective of him. He was a beloved Husband, Son, Father, Grandfather and Brother. His father, JD, preceded him in death. Those left to cherish his memory are wife Kelli; mother Marjorie; daughter Kelsey Lyn Points; step-children: Kyle Ross Marshall and wife Emily, Andrew Jackson Boshart and wife Katelynn, and Kristina Marie Stanley; grandchildren: Alana Marie Sudderth and Isabelle Debra Boshart; brother JD Points III and wife Carey; nephews: Jason Kyle Points and wife Paige, Nathan Taylor Points and wife Jordan, and Jordan Andrew Points and wife Victoria; mother-in-law Georgia Jean Menough; and numerous extended family and friends who will miss him profoundly.
