Larry R. Stucker
Jacksonville - Larry R. Stucker, 76, of Jacksonville, IL, died Sunday, February 23, 2025, at his home.
He was born May 2, 1948, in Jacksonville, the son of Roy Junior and Betty L. (Reynolds) Stucker. He married Connie Milstead and they later divorced. He later married Paula King on August 8, 1987, and she survives.
He is also survived by his blended family of five children, Larry (Connie) P., Karmen (companion, Johnny) K., Pat (Gina) P., Chrissy N., and Justin P.; ten grandchildren, Krystal P., Amanda L., Brandon P., Josh S., Collin K., Alec P., Taylor N., Trestin P., Taelor P., and Josie P.; ten great grandchildren, Paxton P., Leo P., Milo P., Brody L., Brylee L., Hunter H., Greyson S., Lilly S., Colt S., and Iyvanah K., and one great grandchild due in July; two sisters, Jeane Chambers, and Debbie Hopper; one brother, Terry Stucker; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Ida Reynolds and Roy and Virnal Stucker; his parents, Roy and Betty Stucker; and one sister, Sheila Long.
Larry was a veteran of the United States Army, serving for two years from 1968 through 1969. He worked for Adkins Farms in Chandlerville and Waggener Farms in Jacksonville. He later retired from RP Lumber in Jacksonville. He was a 24-year member of Prairieland Heritage Museum.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025, at Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville, with burial at Jacksonville East Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm prior to the service. Memorial gifts are suggested to Prairieland Heritage Museum. Condolences may be sent online at www.airsman-hires.com.
