Melissa Crow Obituary
Murrayville - Melissa A. "Missy" Crow, 53, of Murrayville passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital. She was born Nov. 20, 1970, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Ronald Lee Ward and Marsha Zenge Ward Braley. She married Kerry T. Crow, May 19, 2018, and he survives.
Also surviving are children, Julian Ronald Ward Evans of Jacksonville, Elliot Marshall Evans, Sofia Leeanne Evans and Veronica Rose Evans all of Murrayville; 5 stepchildren; 5 step grandchildren; siblings, Monica Ward of AZ and Hoss Ward of San Fransico, CA; niece, Mila Vigorito; nephew, Tenzin Ward and great nephew, Javi Vigorito. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Marsha.
Missy worked in childcare at the Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville. She was a board member of the Gates to Glory Ministry Church. Missy was an avid self-taught crocheter, who loved her dogs and chickens, gardening, visiting the mountains and going to the farmer's market. She was fond of Willie Nelson and Jude Law. Missy was a wonderful mother, and her children were her world.
A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024, at the Daws Family Funeral Home in Jacksonville. A visitation will be held Saturday, 1:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Crow Family c/o Kerry Crow. Praying for you Kerry and all loved ones in your loss as Missy is gone too soon but never to be forgotten! Asking God to enfold all in His faithful love and comfort all with cherished memories you hold dear.
