Robert Turner Obituary
Ashland - Robert E. Turner, 86, died Oct. 5, 2022, at Timbercreek Rehab & Health Care in Pekin, IL.
He was born Mar. 27, 1936, in Springfield, the son of Glen and Neta Tucker Turner. He married Patricia Miller on Dec. 4, 1955, in Lincoln and she survives.
Mr. Turner was a graduate of Ashland High School. He then attended Lincoln Bible Institute before graduating from the University of Maryland. He was a career member of the United States Air Force and a veteran of the Vietnam War. After retirement, he and Patricia retired to Wilmar, AR. He enjoyed coin and stamp collecting.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2022, at the Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Ashland, with burial at Ashland Cemetery. Condolences may be left at buchanancody.com.
