Sean Lyons Obituary
He was born Sept. 12, 1989, in Jacksonville, the son of Kevin E. and Suzanne Surratt Lyons.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Kevin and Lisa Lyons of Virginia; his mother, Suzanne Surratt Lyons of Pawnee; six brothers and sisters, Sabrina Lyons of Quincy, Cameron Lyons of Virginia and Tori Holmes, Marshall Holmes, Lucas Holmes and Theo Holmes, all of Pawnee; paternal grandparents, William and Sandra Lyons of Jacksonville; maternal grandparents, Alvin and Teresa Yates of Arenzville; and companion, Andrea Evans of Jacksonville. He was preceded in death by one brother, Jeremy Lyons; his maternal grandfather, Gary Surratt; and one uncle, Randy Lyons.
Sean was a 2008 graduate of Virginia High School. He had previously worked at Cargill in Beardstown. He enjoyed wrestling, skateboarding and loud music.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home in Jacksonville, with burial at Jacksonville East Cemetery. The family will meet friends 9:30-11 a.m. prior to the service. Memorials are suggested to the family. Condolences may be left at www.buchanancody.com.

I'm terribly sorry to hear about another young loss in your family. I just found out today, or I certainly would have been there. I can't fathom what all of you are going through. I'm praying for all of you. Your family was there for us after the loss of our mother (Janet Gregory). Please let us know if there is anything I can do. We are so sorry for your loss and we feel the loss as well. We grew up with Sean and many of us were very close to him. We are very saddened to hear the news. Sean was a great kid to hang out with and to grow up with.

Kevin and Lisa,
Kathleen and I were deeply saddened to hear of Sean's passing. We remember all the times he and DJ spent together when we lived in Virginia. Always polite and respectful, Sean was a joy to have in our home.
