Kelley Stephenson Obituary

Kelley Stephenson, 62, passed away Thursday, September 19th in Manchester, New Hampshire. Kelley was born July 1st 1962 in Dover, New Hampshire. A great daughter, mother, wife and friend she always worked hard to make sure everyone got along and felt loved and accepted. Kelley spent much of her childhood in Etna, Maine until she moved to Corinna where she lived with her first husband of 19 years and had 2 boys, Derek and Joshua Lord. Kelley devoted her life to being a mother, she worked at Dexter Shoe Co. for many years and still made sure to have time to raise her boys. Her sons were her biggest source of pride and joy, she wanted to provide a better life for them regardless of the sacrifices she had to make. After her boys were grown she moved to Gainesville, Florida for about 8 years before moving back to Maine to be closer to her family and siblings. Both Derek and Josh were married, giving her the daughters she never had, and built families of their own and gave Kelley 7 grandchildren whom she cherished and loved to visit whenever she could. Kelley met her husband, Bruce late in life but they were very happy together and tried very hard to make up for time they felt they had lost, they were very loving and spent 9 wonderful years together. They moved to Manchester, New Hampshire as they loved spending time there with family. Kelley and Bruce had a nightly ritual throughout their marriage of saying to each other “I love you more; The end I win.” She was taken too soon but left a legacy of love for all those who knew her and left a lasting impact on their lives. Kelley was predeceased by her parents, Larry and Leta Dearborn and her brother, Rick Fournier. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Stephenson; sons, Derek Lord and wife, Jessica Lord and their children, Hannah, Mallory and Jordan; and Joshua Lord and wife, Melissa Lord and their children, Justin, Brandon, Tucker and Baylee; her siblings, Timmy Dearborn and wife, Joyce, Tammy Brann and husband, Cony, Sue O’Brien and wife, Shelly, Nola Dearborn, Karen Small and Larry Dearborn and wife, Patty; sister-in-law, Becky Lord and husband, Steve, Nancy Ernst and husband, Gary and brother-in-law, Roger Stephenson and wife, Mona; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews. There will be a small graveside service with family in Sidney at 12:30pm, on October 12th followed by a Celebration of Life in Hallowell at Burano’s at approximately 1:30pm. Please reach out to her son, Josh at 207-216-1038 for further details if you wish to attend.
