Robert Hull Obituary

Robert "Bob" Clifford Hull, 85, a resident of Troy, NH, passed away peacefully with his granddaughter and daughter by his side on Thursday, September 4, 2025, after a brief period of declining health at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA. Robert was born a son to the late Shirley I. (Cline) Amerio and Russell A. Hull on March 13, 1940, in Ipswich, MA. "On the kitchen table," he would say. On July 20, 1962, Bob exchanged vows with the love of his life, Frances "Fran" Rose Brosque. They had a simple ceremony in Amesbury, MA, with family and friends celebrating their love. They were happily married for 58 years until Fran passed away on March 5, 2021. Bob enjoyed his time working for Walmart before retirement, as one of their facilities technicians, where he was liked and loved by many. Before that, Bob worked for Simplex for many years. Bob loved to talk mostly about his time working with his friend "Shike" from 1972 to 1977 as a Special Police Officer and a Dog Officer in West Newbury, MA. Along with working, Bob loved going hunting, fishing, camping, and bird watching. He was a member of the Canal Sportsman's Club and the Associated Sports Club. Bob valued and cherished his time with family and close friends. He was always good at kidding and joking around at every opportunity he found. He made sure always to get a smile and a reaction. Mr. Hull is survived by his children, Clifford Hull of Fitzwilliam, Mary "Maribell" Cote of Templeton, MA., and Russell "Rusty" Hull of Gardner, MA., and his brother, James Hull of Ipswich, MA. Robert is also survived by his grandchildren, Christina M. (Cote) Roche, Michael J. Cote Jr., Kenneth A. Cote, Kyle Hull, Tiffany Chase, Corrie Hull, and Russell R. Hull, great-grandchildren, Ariana, Jeremiah, Jason, Elysia, Mickey, Caydence, Axle, Zoe, Kayce, Serenity, Cali, Faith, Amethyst, and his two great-great-grandchildren, Zairean and Michael along with his favorite brother-in-law, "Fible", Ted Pickul. He had many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends whom he cherished as well. Robert was predeceased by his parents, his wife, and his siblings, Shirley Pickul, Donna Hussey, and Cheryl Landers, as well as his longtime friends, Betty and Richie Boisvert. A graveside service, open to family and friends, will take place on September 27 at 11:00 AM the family lot at Mountain View Cemetery, Rt 12 N. Main St. Troy, NH. 03465. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Granite State Dog Recovery, 7 Dartmouth St. Hooksett, NH. 03106. All services are under the care of Cheshire Family Funeral Home, Chapel, and Crematories, 44 Maple Ave. Keene, NH. 03431. www.cheshirefamilyfh.com.
