Michael J. Thompson
ROWLAND — King Michael J. Thompson (Big Mike), 13, of 1199 Henry Berry Road, Rowland, was born March 18, 2002, to Mrs. Jessica Thompson and Marvin Revels stepfather of Lumberton. He went home to be with the God Almighty on May 10, 2015.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Michael leaves behind so many to cherish his memories, his two sisters, Miss Shanasty Thompson and Miss Kaylie Helms; a bubba, Master Bricley Hunt, all of the home; his grandparents, Rita and James Thompson of Rowland, who was like a mother and father, and Ted and Judy Hunt; his father, Josh Hunt of Lumberton; four aunts, Brandy Sanders of Fairmont, Billy Jo Thompson of Rowland, Patsy Oxendine and Kaneka Owens, both of Pembroke; two uncles, James Thompson of the home and Lynn Sanders of Fairmont; 16 amazing cousins; special friends, John Hunt and Nocomaa Helms; the Henry Berry Crew; and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends 4 to 7 p.m. today at Pembroke Middle School.
