Kenneth Ray Braddock, 87, of Plainview, Texas died on Tuesday, April 23, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 26, 2019 at Trinity Life Church with Steve Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.
A visitation will be held 6-8:00 P.M. Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Kornerstone.
Kenneth was born on September 15, 1931 in Post, Texas to Ernest Robert and Leola Ithoma (Stewart) Braddock. He married Blanche Marie Reese on July 9, 1953 in Roswell, NM.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a grandson, Shawn McPherson.
Survivors include a son, Danny Braddock of Plainview, TX; a daughter, Belinda Renee Cobb and husband Kirk of Euless, TX; his grandchildren, Jason McPherson and wife Brittney, Brooklyn Braddock and partner Jerri Elliot, Austin Cleveland and fiancé Mirabel Magallanes; a great grandchild, Sidney McPherson; his bonus family, Ruben and Lettie Liscano of Plainview, TX, their children, Isaac and Crystal Liscano of Lubbock, TX, Senaida and Danny Ortiz of Plainview, TX and grandchildren Zacchaeus Ortiz, Zoe Ortiz and Journey Marie Liscano.
Kenneth enjoyed spending time with his family and telling jokes. He loved dipping levi garett and eating at Furr's. He loved going to the Jimmy Dean museum. He had a wonderful voice and loved to sing. He spent many hours on his porch and enjoyed going for ice cream and washing his car. He will be greatly missed.
