Stacey, Forrest and Reagan,
Tammy was one of the most genuine, caring people that we have had the honor to know. Her dedication for her profession was surpassed only by her love and devotion to you all in her family. She was a true blessing to those she met.
I can't imaging how much she will be missed by you all. Our prayers are with you. May Christ and his Hope, his Peace, and His Promise be with you.

I cannot imagine the pain you and your family are feeling during this difficult time. It should serve as a comfort to know that there are many people whose lives were touched by Tammy. She reached out to help so many people. Her genuine love was known by all who came in contact with her. May you find comfort in knowing that she is in a better pllace now. I pray that God wraps His love around you and gives you strength during your time of need. She helped more people during her short time here than many do in an entire lifetime!

Although I only worked with Tammy a short time at Stat Care in Beaumont and the Christus clinic in Silsbee, I remember how sweet and caring she always was to her patients as well as co-workers.

I had the privilege of meeting Tammy through my niece Stephanie Cardenas. Tammy was a wonderful person, full of life. When my mother was diagnosed with Leukemia, Tammy jumped into action and coordinated a blood drive in her honor. It didn't matter to Tammy that she didn't know mom, it was Tammy's way of supporting her co-worker and friend.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Stacey and the chidren. She will be missed but never forgotten!

Stacey,
I am so saddened by Tammy's passing. I don't want to believe it is true! She was such a wonderful, giving friend and I am so greatful that she was in my life. I don't think I could have gotten through my time in Midland without her. I have some wonderful memories of her both at work and in our outside lives. She inspired me to get involved with non-profits and to take time out of my busy life to give to others. I pray that God gives you the strength to get through this difficult time. Forrest and Reagan are so lucky to have you as their father and I know you can lead them through this. My thoughts and prayers will forever be with you and your family.

Stacey, Forrest and Reagan,
I am so saddened to hear about Tammy's passing. Tammy was my PA in Plainview and I babysat the kids a few times. Tammy was a wonderful role model and mentor. She was the reason I decided to become a PA and was a huge help to me while I was applying to PA school. I was so happy to be able to see her again at my interview with her at Texas Tech last year. She was such a wonderful woman. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time.

I was fortunate to work with Tammy at the clinic in Silsbee, Texas. She insisted on removing a "spot" on my back on her last day there. I don't know if she ever knew it was melanoma and she saved my life! At this moment I am wondering why things happen the way they do. The only answer I have is that "He is God, and I am not!" Stacey, you and the children are in my constant thoughts and prayers.

Through the years that I have known Tammy, we have lived close to each other at times and away from each other at times. No matter how much time passed between our visits, Tammy always picked up right where we left off. She was able to do this because she cared so deeply and held so closely those she loved.
Stacey, Forrest, & Reagan- my heartfelt sympathy goes out to you. I pray you'll find comfort in knowing how closely Tammy holds the three of you. You have a precious angel watching over you.

My heart breaks for all of you. Forrest and Reagan know that your mother touched the lives of people you will never meet and that they will thank her and will be thanking her when they meet in Heaven. I only knew her for a short time but she made a lasting impression upon my life. The way she talked about her family there was no doubt that you were only second to God in her life. This lose is unimaginable and I hope you will take some comfort in knowing that your mother was not only special to you but to so many people on this earth.
Stacy I pray for you daily, I don’t even know what to pray but I speak to God about you throughout my day knowing He is right beside you. I can’t imagine the insurmountable pain that you are facing at this moment and I have no words of comfort so if you ever just need an ear to listen or a moment in which you need to scream out at God please feel free to call me at 409.782.9208. I have no words but I do have an ear.
With a heavy heart,

Mrs. Ream was definitely an asset to the the PA program of TTUHSC. She was a wonderful instructor. Even though she was involved in many organizations and activities, she was always willing to answer questions, give advice, or be there to lend an ear. She will be missed by many students, including myself. I am sorry that future Tech students will not have the opportunity to know this wonderful woman. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this sad time.

It is going to take a long time for me to really process that Mrs Ream is no more with us. She is not only my professor but a mentor to all the Class officers at the Texas Tech PA-school. She was the one that we will go to first for any issue. Her legacy will continue and it is with deep regret that she is no more with us. Mrs. Ream,
is an awsome professor, friend and mentor and we will miss her bright smile and and funny quirks as well as her dedication to us, her students. So hard to put into words this tragic loss.
I'll miss how she ALWAYS got on to people about drinks and snacks in the lecture rooms. "Uhhh Mr. SO and SO that's not water your drinking. Water doesn't have that color. Put it away." What she was really saying was, respect this program. And if your going to act like your five, I'll treat you that way. Or she was probably thinking that. She really meant it for the best.
I'll miss her jokingly making fun of my "weak" H and P presentations during our rotation site meetings for Lubbock. "We're all so excited about your presentation on "Strep Throat" Mr. Danley." Yes, I really presented on Strep Throat. How weak is that? She never let me live it down. Nor did she let me live down the nickname, Pinky. Ya, Thanks Dawn Jankowski.
One frustrating and disapointing day during grand rounds in Dec of 2007, after failing my OB/GYN exam she spent about 3 hours with me. Her young daughter playfully anxious and running amuck in the back office area and Mrs. Ream continued to help me out and answer questions. Probably about a hundred of them. There was nothing unusual about her helping out a student in need. That's just what Tammy Ream did if she wasn't out of town fighting for our profession.
I learned that day that she was a woman of strong spiritual conviction and belief. I have no doubt where she is today. Yes, A much better place than here, though, much to early for us. I'm quite sure she's probably still quite professionally dressed even for heavens' standards.
Someday, I'll once again be greeted by that warm smile and "Hey Pinkie" followed by a chuckle.
Thanks, for everything Mrs. Ream. We'll miss you Ms. Ream. We'll be better PA's because of you Ms. Ream.
