Nathan Schultz Obituary

Nathan Dean Schultz, 26, of DeMotte passed away on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015.
Nathan was born Oct. 1, 1988 in Valparaiso, the son of Jeffrey D. and Debbie (Lovely) Schultz. On Oct. 5, 2013, in DeMotte, he married Amber L. Gooden, who survives.
He was a graduate of Kankakee Valley High School, class of 2007. He worked as a carpenter with Local 1005 and was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in DeMotte. Nathan loved spending time camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time on Rockville Lake.
Nathan leaves behind his wife, Amber; children, Haylie and Hunter; parents, Jeffrey and Debbie Schultz of DeMotte; brother, Dustin Schultz of West Lafayette; mother and father-in-law, Dan and Julie Gooden of Wheatfield; sister-in-law, Ashley Gooden of Wheatfield; paternal grandparents, Robert and Maureen Schultz of DeMotte; maternal grandmother, Clydia Lovely of DeMotte; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may visit the family on Monday, March 2, from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church of DeMotte. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church of DeMotte with Pastor Jared Raebel officiating. A Committal Service will be held on Tuesday, March 3, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Rensselaer.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Lutheran Church in DeMotte.
