Alex, I am sorry for the loss you and your family are sharing. There were so many great Captains as we were growing up and it saddens me that there are so few left. Wow the fishing we experienced with our dads and the stories we will cherish and continuously share with our children! Heaven has to host one of the grandest marinas imaginable. Look at the captains that have gone to share in that fleet. You are in my thoughts and prayers!

In recollection of the many fun times with Capt. Alex-, I could always sense and almost hear the ocean waves in his laughter, voice and the glimmer in his eye.

The many stories that he told, was his way of extending to others his knowledge of life. Capt Alex’s life knowledge was as wide as the Atlantic. He displayed wisdom from his years. His wisdom included the hurt and pain but the joy of having loved people was the wave that pushed him on when things were bad.

Oh, how we would laugh about the story of him getting his brother’s new bike and being hit by the truck.

I had so wished that Capt Alex Sing could be healthy enough to take my little boy fishing in the ocean. Many lives have been enriched, colored and helped as Capt Alex walked his many miles on this earth. He will be missed and my prayer is that God has a fishing hole ready for Capt Alex. Maybe even a very special Island Queen tour boat!

So sorry to hear about the passing of your loved one. You don't know me but Aunt Lou Sing was my great aunt and I am sure Capt. Alex was related to her. May God richly bless each of you is my prayer.
