Surfside Beach, South Carolina - Beverly Ann Rishel, age 79, of Surfside Beach, SC passed away peacefully Sunday, November 19, 2023.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Beverly was the daughter of and the late Murven John Witherel and Margaret Florentine Witherel. Beverly worked at Sears for 15 years and was member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Murrells Inlet, SC.
Survivors include her loving husband, Steve Rishel, Surfside Beach, SC; son, William Scott Rishel (Tasha), Surfside Beach, SC; daughter, Cassandra Lynn Ezzell (Christopher), Holly Springs, NC; grandchildren, Fox Winslow Ezzell, Owen Christopher Ezzell, Eleanor Cannon Ezzell, John Michael Murven Rishel and Tyler James Winslow Rishel; brother, Jeffrey Alan Witherel (Linda), Woodbridge, VA.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday November 22, 2023, at Burroughs Funeral Home in Murrells Inlet, SC. Interment will take place 2:00 PM Friday November 24, 2023, in Florence National Cemetery, Florence, SC. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Tuesday November 21, 2023 at the funeral home.
