Asheville, North Carolina - Carol Lynne Cape, 87, passed away on June 16, 2025. Born June 25, 1937, in Tampa, FL, Carol was a lifelong adventurer who believed in "blooming where you're planted." She traveled the world with her husband, Bob Cape, during his U.S. Air Force service, living in Japan, Germany, and Italy before settling in Surfside Beach, SC. A vibrant member of her community and church, Carol brought joy wherever she went.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Surfside Beach this fall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Silverbell Homestead in Fletcher NC, or Hospice.
