There a few that qualify for respect in every category that mankind is judged. But Charlie was one of those few. Charlie and I had many a round of golf and talked about our love of flying, golf and college football. I did not hold it against him that he went to the trade school in Atlanta( Ga Tech) while I attended the university in Athens. He was a true friend and I will miss him!! Bill Hicks

Charles had a huge impact on my Christian walk. As an Elder and Song Leader I saw him as a spiritual giant in my life when I was a kid. A wonderful, kind man.
