Our hearts are heavy for you during this time. We cannot image what you and your family are dealing with or have dealt with the past two years. To lose a child has to be the hardest lost to deal with. As a parent our children become our whole life and trying to go on without them can only happen through Jesus Christ, by given you the strength and courage to deal with each day without Chelsea. Chelsea has always been a wonderful child and we love her and know in our hearts that she is waiting for the people she loves while rejoicing with God. Know she is not alone and yes she can talk and walk again without pain. You guys have been awesome Know we are praying for you and we love you guys. Sorry we can’t be with you today.

Dear Parents and Grandparents of Chelsea:

You all have been in my daily prayers since I learned about Chelsea from Mary, who was my husband, Paul Rice's, ICU nurse on the last day of his life. All I can say is that if Chelsea was anything like her grandmother, she was the best. In her own sorrow, Mary was still able to reach out to us and help us make Paul's passing a joyous resurrection. All of you will continue to be in the Rice family's prayers. May the peace that passes understanding enfold you all.
