Day Kreuzburg Obituary

Franklin Day Kreuzburg
June 9, 1940 - July 18, 2016
Sunset Beach
Day Kreuzburg, of Silver Spring, MD, 76, passed away very unexpectedly on July 18. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Diane, his two grateful children, Brad (Megan) and Traci (James). He also had two adoring grandchildren Mathis Kelly and Eleanor Day Kreuzburg, as well a his beloved Goldens Sangria and Cognac. He graduated from the Univ. of MD and served his country as a 1st Lt. in the Army during the Vietnam Conflict. On his return he helped his father-in-law run the stadium for all Washington Redskin home games. Day moved to Sea Trail in 2000 and immediately began his new "career" as Facilities Chairman for the Sea Trail Master Association and Treasurer for Paws-Ability. He poured more of his heart and soul in to his volunteer efforts, in both endeavors, than he ever did running his own company, Kreuzburg and Company, Inc. for 20 years. Memorial donations may be made to: Paws-Ability P.O. Box 6174 Ocean Isle Beach, NC 28469 or National MS Society Greater Carolina Chapter 9771-A Southern Pine Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28273.
