Mrs. Donna Gerald Harrelson, age 58, passed away Friday, August 23, 2013 at McLeod Loris Hospital. Mrs. Harrelson was born on October 22, 1954 in Loris, SC to Johnnie Gerald and Aline Fowler Gerald. Mrs. Harrelson retired as an office clerk with Green Sea High School and was a lifelong member of Live Oak Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother of Loris; her husband, Harry Harrelson of the home; her son, Brandon Harrelson and wife, Paiton of Goldsboro, NC; her daughter, Beth Harrelson Kempski and husband, Damon of Loris, SC; grandson, Layton Harrelson of Goldsboro, NC; sister, Delois Jernigan of Loris, SC; two brothers, Eugene Gerald and wife, Pat and Randy Gerald all of Loris, SC; sister in law, Kim Gerald of Loris, SC and half-brothers, Mike Gerald and wife, Lorie and Mitchell Gerald and wife, Stacey all of Conway, SC.
Mrs. Harrelson was predeceased by her father and half-sister, Sheila Gerald.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Live Oak Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Hughes and Rev. David Watts officiating. Committal services will follow at Twin City Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 5 until 7 PM at Hardwick Funeral Home. I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Ms. Donna's warm smile and kind heart. We all called her Ms. Donna instead of Mrs. Harrelson. The Class of 1992 will miss her dearly. My prayers are with your family.
