Doris Clark Obituary

CONWAY | Doris Ann Clark, 53, of Antioch Road, died Tuesday January 27, 2009 at Conway Medical Center.

She was born June 28, 1955 in Conway, South Carolina, a daughter of the late A. W. Calhoun and Elizabeth Jordan Calhoun. She was also predeceased by one sister, Wanda Graham; and one brother, Julius Calhoun.

She was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church. She was owner and operator of Doris & Audrey's 701 Cafe for eight years. She was a very loving person and especially loved her grandchildren. She enjoyed telling jokes and making people feel welcome everywhere she went.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth E. King Jr. of the home; two daughters, Katina (Gary Todd) Clark of Conway, and Chasity Clark (Jim) Rosales of Texas; one son, Tony (Stacey) King of Conway; one sister, Pat (A. L.) Skipper; two brothers, Johnny Ray Calhoun and Dennis ''BoBo'' (Kay) Calhoun all of Conway; 10 grandchildren, Nicholas Clark, Gunner Todd, Hailey Todd, Jayden Clark, Zack Rosales, Kirstien Rosales, Isabella Rosales, Victoria King, Travis King and Lauren King; and many other family and friends who will miss her.

Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2009 in Watson Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. James Goude and the Rev. Mack Hutson officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2009 at Watson Funeral Services.
