Myrtle Beach
Edward "Ed" Harvey McIntosh, Sr., age 81, died on Saturday June 23, 2018 at Embrace Hospice House.
Born in Greenville, SC he was a son of the late Melvin and Sina McIntosh. After many years of service, he retired from General Parts Inc. then moved to Myrtle Beach in 2011. He was a member of Forestbrook Baptist Church. Ed spent his time travelling and volunteering with his church and community. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Sina McIntosh; 2 brothers, Charles and Russell McIntosh; and 2 grandsons, Benjamin and Justin McIntosh.
Survivors include his wife Elaine McIntosh of Myrtle Beach; 2 sons Edward (Ann) McIntosh, Jr., and Christopher (Robin) McIntosh; 2 daughters Elizabeth Crews and Susan (Dave) Murdock; Step children Tracey (Danny) LaPrade and Kristen (Jason) Brown; 6 Grandchildren Meagan (Ryan), Ryan, Derek (Kala), Katie, Riley and Oliver; 1 Great Grandchild Evie; Step-Grandchildren Caroline and Andrew;; 2 brothers Melvin McIntosh of Denver, NC and Ted McIntosh of Gastonia, NC.
Celebration of life will be at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to Forestbrook Baptist Church at 2015 Forestbrook Rd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588; or Embrace Hospice House 175 Village Center Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579.

Just today-July 5, learned of the passing of Ed. Spent last three years of high school with Ed playing sports. He was a top notch guy. My God be with you in the days to come.
