Eugene Mulligan Obituary
Murrells Inlet
Eugene "Gene" Mulligan of Murrells Inlet SC died peacefully at home with family by his side on Aug 25, 2013. He was 86 years old.
Gene was a US Navy veteran of WWII. With his wife Anne, he raised a family in Fords NJ from 1960-1986, before retiring to the Myrtle Beach area. He was an active member of St Michael's RC Church (Garden City), as well as being an avid golfer and bowler, and a member of the Knights of Columbus, VFW and the Elks Club.
Gene follows his beloved wife Anne into eternal rest and is survived by daughters Patty (Chip) Woltz, Flanders NJ; Peggy (Tom) Pitoscia, Murrells Inlet SC; Katey (Phil) Budzynski, Irmo SC; and by sons Jim (Isabelle) Mulligan, Viera FL and Joe (Deanna) Mulligan, Old Bridge NJ; as well as 12 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Arrangements are being handled by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Murrells Inlet SC (http://www.goldfinchfuneralhome.com/).
A funeral mass will be held at 9:30 AM Saturday, August 31, 2013 at St. Michael Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 4:30-7:30 PM Friday, August 30, 2013 at the Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel Reception Center.
