Patsy and Karen,
Gerald became my friend over 20 years ago when I first moved to North Myrtle Beach, and he was always a "buddy" to me. I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear we've lost him, and how my heart goes out to you. Patsy, one of my most vivid memories is when he bought you a guitar. He was so proud of himself for giving you that present. You were one of the very lucky ones to find that loving husband and good friend to share your life with. And Karen, I know he loved you and you adored him. It's a special gift when we are given a good father to love us. That is also a rare and wonderful thing. My thoughts are with you both these next days. May you find solace in happy memories and family sharing.
