Irene Flynn Obituary

LITTLE RIVER | Irene A. Flynn, 70, of Little River, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, at Loris Community Hospital.



She was born November 5, 1933, in Hooksett, N.H., a daughter of the late Florand and Yvonne Ouellette Demers. She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.



Survivors include two sons, Paul Flynn of Mechanicsville, Md., Kevin Flynn of Elkridge, Md.; two daughters, Julia Hamilton of Baltimore, Md., Marie Grillo of Little River; two brothers, Rudy Demers of Manchester, N.H., Norman ''Sonny'' Demers of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Lorraine Deschenes of Lanconia, N.H., Priscilla Labarre of Manchester, N.H.; and seven grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Paul Flynn.



Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Lee Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Burial will be at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, Md. Lee Funeral Home & Crematory of Little River/North Myrtle Beach is serving the family.
