Dear Family, I was sorry to just hear about Jackie's passing. He and I went on the Marshville golf trips together. I'll always remember we were playing together when I hit my hole in one. He was highly thought of by all the guys. Our prayers are with you.

Coach Jackson always tried to keep me out of trouble and guide me to do the right things in life and in the classroom. I am very sorry for this loss, but I hope you can find solace in the fact that he meant so much to so many like myself.

Sandra, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and the rest of Jackie's family and friends. Having grown up in Marion, I remember how all the kids looked up to Jackie. I will always remember the years he played at Clemson, he always took the time to come back to work with the football teams at Marion High School. I know Jackie will be missed by many.

I have so many memories of my friendship with Jackie. The one I remember the most is when the two of us huddled up to watch Clemson win the National Championship in 1981. I'll sure miss him.

Please accept my condolence. Jackie was principal when I attended MHS'77 and he gave me MANY free passes. More recently our lives crossed again when he worked part time at Sara Lee. As an HR Manager, he was the ideal employee, always so upbeat and freely giving encouraging comments! He will be missed.

Our thoughts and prayers to Jackie's family and many close friends. Jackie was a good man, I remember as a young kid looking up to him as such a good high school athlete who went on to play college football. As I got to know him better as adults, I came to like him and respect him even more. May God comfort you and may you also find comfort in knowing how well Jackie Jackson was thought of by those who knew him.

Sandra, Randy and I are sad to hear about Jackie's death. I understand that he had been ill for some time. When I look at old family movies, there he was with all the neighborhood kids, dressed in his cowboy outfit! That was some time ago. We will keep you in our thoughts.

Family, I am so saddened for your loss. Mr. Jackson drove my bus when I was just a little girl, then he was an administrator while I was in high school. Definitely an icon of Marion District One.
