Dear Family, I was sorry to just hear about Jackie's passing. He and I went on the Marshville golf trips together. I'll always remember we were playing together when I hit my hole in one. He was highly thought of by all the guys. Our prayers are with you.

Coach Jackson always tried to keep me out of trouble and guide me to do the right things in life and in the classroom. I am very sorry for this loss, but I hope you can find solace in the fact that he meant so much to so many like myself.

Mr. Jackson was my principle during my elementary school years. He is remembered by my family as a well liked, decent, and respectable person who treated everyone with kindness. Many years have passed since my time with Mr. Jackson but his warm personality has always remained in my memories.

Sandra, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and the rest of Jackie's family and friends. Having grown up in Marion, I remember how all the kids looked up to Jackie. I will always remember the years he played at Clemson, he always took the time to come back to work with the football teams at Marion High School. I know Jackie will be missed by many.

I have so many memories of my friendship with Jackie. The one I remember the most is when the two of us huddled up to watch Clemson win the National Championship in 1981. I'll sure miss him.

Sandra, I don't know if you remember me, but Jackie and I were very close and dated in the early 80's. He was such a kind person and a great friend. I had not heard from him in quite some time and did not realize he was ill. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I know he will be truly missed.

Please accept my condolence. Jackie was principal when I attended MHS'77 and he gave me MANY free passes. More recently our lives crossed again when he worked part time at Sara Lee. As an HR Manager, he was the ideal employee, always so upbeat and freely giving encouraging comments! He will be missed.

Our thoughts and prayers to Jackie's family and many close friends. Jackie was a good man, I remember as a young kid looking up to him as such a good high school athlete who went on to play college football. As I got to know him better as adults, I came to like him and respect him even more. May God comfort you and may you also find comfort in knowing how well Jackie Jackson was thought of by those who knew him.

Sandra, Randy and I are sad to hear about Jackie's death. I understand that he had been ill for some time. When I look at old family movies, there he was with all the neighborhood kids, dressed in his cowboy outfit! That was some time ago. We will keep you in our thoughts.

To Jackie's Family:
We worked for and with Jackie at Marion High School for many years. He had a deep regard for the students and supported his teachers as an asst. principal. We're very sorry his recent struggles have been so difficult and that his life has ended far too soon.

Family, I am so saddened for your loss. Mr. Jackson drove my bus when I was just a little girl, then he was an administrator while I was in high school. Definitely an icon of Marion District One. Sandra, it has been a very long time since the little shop on Main. Hope all are doing well. Jackie Jackson will certainly be missed.
