Jacqueline "Miss Jackie" Jean Fuentes, 80, of Surfside Beach, SC, formerly of Cross Lanes WV, passed away peacefully at her home, Saturday, October 8, 2016 after a short illness.

Fredrick "Fred" Phalin, (Brenda) of Williamsburg, VA, niece, Renee Phalin, and nephew, Greg Phalin. Grandchildren; granddaughters, Angela Medlock, (Rob), Rikki Vannort, (Matthew), Jackie Keglor Futch, (Brooks), Bonnie Keglor Conner, (Scott), Maria Harrison, and Rachel Harrison. Grandsons; Johnny Keglor, (Charlie), Brandon Clark, and Jacob Clark. Her 12 great grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. Among many other loved ones, friends, and her extended family near and far. Jackie is a High School graduate of East Bank Senior High School and attended Morris Harvey College, in Charleston WV. She had a lifetime love of fine arts, theater, learning, education, classical music, piloting, and traveling the world. She also enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening, planting beautiful flowers and she was always known for her gorgeous, stunning "Jackie smile." One that could only be described as contagious and beautiful, and one that would resonate when walking into a room. She was owner operator of "Jacqueline's School of Dance" and a dance instructor for well over 4 decades. Jackie's love of dance was equaled only by her passion for living, and she was absolutely adored by all her students. She taught dance through what she called, the expression of love, for every student mentored. She was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church, in Garden City, SC. Her accomplishments just to name a few, involved Dancing on Broadway as a teenager, and was a member of Dance Masters of America and Dance Educators of America. She had a passion for flying and accomplished numerous hours of piloting lessons, while receiving her certification. She traveled the world and will tell you, that she lived life to the absolute fullest and in her own words, "I lived a Princesses Life." Jackie loved spending time with family, and her children and grandchildren were the highlight of her life. She was always eager to help a friend or a stranger in need, and had a unique character that made her unforgettable to everyone she met and/or crossed their path. She was loved by many, and was truly a kind and gentle soul. Jackie had a kindred spirit with a heart of gold, and a person who always believed in staying humble she will be missed by many and her legacy will continue to live on through her children, as she is our best friend, our mentor, and most of all, she is our precious mother. Fly high with the angels Momma, fly high. May we always stay connected through are love and power of music. Until we meet again.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 22, 2016 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Garden City, SC. with Father Edward Fitzpatrick officiating her service. Directed By McMillan Small Funeral Home.

When someone we love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. Therefore, treasure the time spent with Jacqueline-draw strength from the love of family and friends-and may God's word and his loyal love comfort you and help you through this most difficult time of sadness. Psalms 119:50,76
