We never are prepared for the loss of a loved one no matter when deaths angel is called down to take them home. It is difficult to comprehend that we are here again to comfort you in your loss. We share the joy of knowing that Don is at peace in this joyous season with our Saviour. We feel that Don was a part of our family. Like Gregg said, he fit right in and took up where Danny left off. Eunice, we have always thought of you as a sister. Gregg and Dana you are special to us. Don's children and family, you have our prayers to comfort you in the loss of a father, grandfather, brother and friend. We hope to be at the funeral to visit with you also.
But it seems you will remember the message better if it is written. God Bless you all, we love you.

God creates us all as good, kind caring and loving people. Don Rabon remained exactly as God originally created him throughout his life. He was one of the truly finest people I have ever known and loved. It was a privilege to be a part of his extended family. Heaven has recieved a WONDERFUL new addition. He will certainly be missed on earth.

Don,
You were an angel that was sent into our family for what seemed like such a short period of time. From day one, it was like you had been a family member for a life time. I can never thank you enough for being the best husband and campanion to my Mother and for treating her like a princess. I always felt completely secure knowing that you were taking care of her and that she had the best life could offer. I was proud to call you my 2nd Dad. It was certainly an honor in my life to know you. I will miss our conversations, the times we spent together and for you always being concerned with what was going on in my life. I miss you but I am comforted in knowing you are no longer sick and are in a much better place. I Love You!
