Jane Lowry Obituary

CAROLINA SHORES, N.C. | Jane D. McLaughlin Lowry entered eternal life on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005.

Beloved wife of Joseph Lowry Sr., and devoted mother of six children. She will be missed by her 12 grandchildren and her five siblings.

Jane raised her family in Northeast Philadelphia, then retired with her husband to Carolina Shores, N.C. She was a 33-year breast cancer survivor and dedicated countless hours to supporting other survivors. Jane served the Lord as an active parishioner, the chairwoman of the Ministry of Welcome and Eucharistic Minister.

Friends are invited to her Memorial Mass on Friday, Dec. 9, at St. Brendan's Church at 9 a.m. Refreshments will be served in the Church Hall immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, Jane's memory would be honored by a donation in her name to the Suzy B. Komen Cancer Foundation, 125 S. 9th Street, Suite 202, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
