John Wilburn Landers, 56, of Myrtle Beach, passed July 7, 2016 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. He was born February 6, 1960 in Asheville, NC, son of John Monroe Landers and Mary Williams Landers.
In addition to his parents of Liberty, SC, John leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife Angela Landers; son, John Nathaniel Landers and wife, Bridget of Murrells Inlet; daughter, Sarah Landers Seale of Maiden, NC; and two grand-dogs, Zeus and Rambo.
A Celebration of John's Life will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Burroughs Funeral Home in Murrells Inlet. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial at sea will take place privately.
A reception in John's honor will be held at the home of John and Bridget Landers in Murrells Inlet at 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in John's Honor to the Student Angler League Tournament Trail, 324 Vesta Drive, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579.

Angela I'm so sorry to hear of your loss John was I fine man and fisherman. I worked with him at Carolina assemblies for years. He always talked about how much he loved his family and fishing. My prayers are with y'all
