Joyce Tarte Obituary

Joyce Morgan Tarte, 68, passed away Friday, January 14, 2011.
She was born January 10, 1943 in Horry County, a daughter of the late Walter Zane Morgan and Lucille Berry Morgan.
Joyce worked at Myrtle Beach High School for many years and was a bus driver for the school and Myrtle Beach Seahawks Athletic Department. Also, she was a waitress for over 30 years at the Longhorn Steakhouse, and worked at Treasure Island Golf.
She is survived by her children, Robin T. Causey and husband, Ray, of Conway, Clifton "Tiger" Tarte, III and wife, Beverly, Greg "Debo" Tarte and wife, Sheri, both of Myrtle Beach; her three sisters, Cherie Compton and Judy Morgan, both of Myrtle Beach, and Morgan Morgan of Sanford, Fla.; her two brothers, Zane Morgan of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Jon Morgan of St. Augustine, Fla.; and her five grand-children, Morgan Causey, Jay Causey, Jackson Causey, Joshua Tarte, and Justin Reitz.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 17, 2011 at McMillan-Small Funeral Home with Dr. Wayne Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Southeastern Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 11 until 1 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the Myrtle Beach Seahawks Athletic Department, care of Myrtle Beach High School, 3302 Robert Grissom Parkway, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
