Ellen, Rebecca and Louise I was so sorry to hear about Mark. I know you will miss him very much.

I always admired Mark because he took a group who didn’t know a thing about computers and with his leadership, willingness and patience to share his knowledge with us, he created the best bank data processing department in the state. I missed him when he left the bank to start his business, but he was always there when we needed him. He was special person.

I will keep each of you in my prayers.

Mark and I were fraternity brothers at Clemson '66 to '68, Sigma Alpha Zeta (now Pi Kappa Alpha). We lived across the hall from one another in the fraternity house. I have so many great memories of Mark from the real "Animal House" we lived in back then. I had not seen Mark in 20+ years, and I wish I had had a chance to tell him personally. I will endeavor to inform as many other Zeta's as I can.

I was sad to learn of Mark's passing yesterday. We are cousins, but he was always "much" older, so our paths did not cross so frequently. I now realize that there was only 9 years difference but as a youth that was alot. Now it seems minute. In any case, the loss of a loved one is extremely difficult. From afar, my condolences. I know he will be missed.

To Ellen and family.

I am very sorry fo your great loss.

Mark and I were "old friends' in the banking data processing business. He did a lot of conversion work for me when I was at First National Bank in Orangeburg. I went out with him on his boat at Little River one weekend, but it was extremely rough and I got sick. A mutual friend, Billy Daniels, formerly of Mullins, called me last night about Mark's death. I will not be able to be at his services in Myrtle Beach, but I do plan to be at the Graveside services in Florence.

Again, I am very sorry for your loss.
