Melba Eileen Kolumba, 88, passed away Monday, March 28, 2011 in Conway, S.C.
Melba was born in Safe, Missouri, and was a daughter of the late Fred and Laura Picker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry H. Kolumba; and a sister, Eva Markel. Melba was a member of the Myrtle Beach Church of Christ.
Surviving are her son, John Kolumba and his wife, Sharon, of Myrtle Beach; a brother, Fred Picker of Arkansas; two sisters, Freida Potter of New Hampshire and Edra Byrd of California; three grandchildren, Adam, Tyler and Grant.
Funeral services will be held in Saint James with burial in Oak Grove, Missouri, later this week. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at McMillan-Small Funeral Home.
