North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina - Nelson C. Anderson, 80, passed away on December 2, 2021.
Born in New Brunswick, NJ, he was the son of the late Nelson and Mildred Stark Anderson.
Nelson served in the US Navy. He worked as a supervisor with New Jersey Bell and Verizon telephone companies. Nelson also was a member of the Sons of American Legion and served as Post Commander and District Commander of Post 503 of Calabash, NC.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Susan Drake Anderson; a son, John Anderson; his daughter, Mary Richards (David); and six grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 1:00pm on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Lee Funeral Home Chapel. The Memorial Service will follow at 2:00pm. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to American Legion Post 503 in Nelson's name.
