Randolph(Randy) Battle Obituary
October 8, 1950 - February 24, 2022
Charleston, South Carolina - Randolph (Randy) Warner Battle went home to be with Jesus in the arms of his beloved wife, Mary Susan Bauhofer Battle. He was the loving son of Caroline and Randolph Battle. Randy graduated from Georgia Tech University where he was a Kappa Sig. After graduation he returned home to work in the family business, Battle LP Gas in Nichols, SC where he is owner and President. He was also the Vice President and Secretary of JR Battle and Company. Randy was the Chairman of the Board at Pee Dee Federal Savings and Loan in Marion, SC.He was also the Executive Vice President of Wildlife Action. Randy loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter, golfer . He spent many an hour fishing on the Pee Dee River. Randy radiated a positive joyful attitude throughout his life. He was kind gentle soul. He is loved and missed more than words can say. His remaining loving family members are his wife Susan of 40 years. His son, Randolph Christian Battle (Anna), his daughter Jennifer Webb Battle, his grandchildren, Evelyn, Warner, & Davis. His sister Angela Martin (Terry) and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. A memorial service will be held at The First Presbyterian Church in Mullins, SC at 11:00am Tuesday, March 1. Contributions to the church and Wildlife Action in Randy's honor is appreciated.

Randy and I shared uncles in James R. Battle as well as first cousins.
Many of my fondest childhood memories were spent in Nichols and Randy was a part of that,
as I so often visited Jim, Bob and Mike Battle .
In later years it always seemed Randy was either on a golf course or playing tennis.
I know he lived and loved life to the fullest with Susan by his side . I had a teenage crush on him and frankly who didn´t ? He kept the charm and youthful twinkle right up til the end . Randy, Rest and Peace and keep hitting those balls. Button
