Roger Lee Murrow Jensen, 72, passed away Saturday, May 19th, 2012 with her family by her side.
Mrs. Jensen was born on December 28th, 1939 in Conway and was the daughter of the late Lee Murrow and the late Elwood Cannon Murrow.
As a graduate of Winyah High School in 1958, Roger Lee was a Georgetown resident for most of her adult life. She has been a devoted Baptized member of the Jehovah's Witnesses since 1962. She was known by many. Formally employed with the K-Mart family for approximately 26 years in Management, she was retired at the time of her death.
She is survived by a son, Derald Jensen of Myrtle Beach; daughter, Debbie Shibley (Jim) of Socastee; sister, Barbara (Bruce) Murrow Smith of Huntsville, Alabama and brother, Linwood Murrow (Kay) of North Charleston. Mrs. Jensen was preceded in death by a sister, Faye Murrow Baden and brother, Charles Murrow.
Roger Lee was blessed with six grandchildren, Mandy, Brandon, Meghan, Amy, Jason and Brian. Eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and especially spending time with her family as well as her spiritual and K-Mart family, she was always in awe of her creator and continues to be a faithful servant of Jehovah God.
