Ronald Hribar Obituary

Ronald 'Pap" Hribar
October 4, 1942- April 15, 2014
Myrtle Beach, SC
On Tuesday, April 15, 2014, Pap was called home by his heavenly Father to his eternal home in heaven with his immediate family at his side. He was preceded in death by his parents John & Barbara Vesolich Hribar, four brothers, Edward, John, Stephen, and Robert, and three sisters Frances, Carolyn and Johanna, all of whom were dearly loved by Pap. Also having gone before him into eternal glory were his father and mother-in law Chester and Ann Delon; his brothers-in-law, Thomas Seery, George Kozlina, Bobby Petronchak and Richard Delon, and his sister-in-law Georgia Delon. Pap is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Charlotte, his dearest son, Ronnie and his three children Skyler, Addison, and Baylor, his precious daughter, Monica and her husband Shannon, and "His Baby" his loving daughter, Charon and her boyfriend, Jose. Members of Pap's earthly family continuing on their Life's Journey are Pap's brother Frank Hribar, his sisters Patricia and Judith Hribar and Beverly Ivy; his sisters-in-law Carmie, Arlene, Diane, Carol, and Joyce Hribar, Janet Leheny, and Catherine Delon; his brothers-in-law Gary Delon, Thomas Leheny and Bill Ivy, and many many nieces, nephews and cousins, whom he loved dearly. Pap was a humble man; a very devoted husband, father, grandfather, godfather, uncle, cousin and friend. Pap loved the children. He lived most of his life in Aliquippa, Pa. dedicated to family, church, and community. Pap was a Steelworker and loved his Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Parish, in Center Township, where he served his God as a Eucharistic Minister, member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus, Religious Education Instructor, and many social committees at the church. He served his community as a board member of the Board of Education in the Center Township School District. Having played both high school and college football, he shared his skills with the youth of the community as a coach. As family was his most precious asset, Pap moved to the beach to be 'Grandfather' to his three grandchildren Skyler, Addison and Baylor. Pap graciously enjoyed all their precious years' together surf fishing with Skyler, and playing on the beach with Addison and Baylor. He enjoyed watching all the sports activities they participated in. His grandchildren were the greatest joy of his life. He continued to serve his church community in Myrtle Beach, as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Andrew's RC Church, when volunteers were requested. Most recently, Pap found a new love for the last five years of his life - the Longbeards Family. In October of 2008, Pap began to meet and greet hundreds of people whom he thoroughly loved and enjoyed daily at the restaurant. No one was a customer; they were his friends, they were his family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, April 21, at 11:00 am with his pastor, Fr James LeBlanc officiating. A Celebration of Life fellowship will be held at LONGBEARD'S BAR & GRILL at 12:30 pm following the service. To honor Pap, wear your favorite hat. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the Fierce Fallon Fund. An on-line guest book is available at www.msfh.net.
