Ronald McLellan Obituary

LORIS | Ronald ''Ron'' McLellan Jr., age 54, of Willow Road, passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006 at Loris Community Hospital following an extended illness.

Mr. McLellan was born in Marion, a son of Ronald McLellan Sr. and Hilda Irene Calahan McLellan. Mr. McLellan served in the U.S. Marines Corps for two years. He was an avid golfer, bowler, softball player and a motorcycle enthusiast. The family would like to thank all friends and family, especially their neighbors, Jack and Rose Moore.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Wanda Odom McLellan of the residence; three sons, Michael McLellan, Patrick McLellan, both of Charleston, Michael Dorman of Aynor; one daughter, Lesley Dunn of Conway; one brother, Kenny McLellan of Florence; three sisters, Felice Russell, Irene Stone, Marsha Pigg, all of Florence; and eight grandchildren, Gage Dorman, Michael McLellan, Gretchen Dunn, Briggs Dorman, C.J. McLellan, BreAnna Dorman, Kenley Dunn, and Calob McLellan.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, 2006 at the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Howell officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006 at the funeral home.
