Rosemary Deskins Obituary

MYRTLE BEACH | Rosemary McCoy Deskins, age 61, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005, at her home.

Born on June 22, 1944 in Burnwell, Ky. to the late Juanita Scott McCoy and Brumley McCoy, Rosemary was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are her former husband, Larce Deskins of Burnwell, Ky.; daughters, Sheila Deskins Ball of Huddy, Ky., Juanita Turner (Roger) of Myrtle Beach; son, Sam (Shannon) Deskins of Forest Hills, Ky.; adoptive daughter, Angela Rose Petrusick of Myrtle Beach; grandchildren, Brandon Varney, Kimberly and Danielle Deskins, Calib Ball and Sam Turner; brother, Don McCoy of Burnwell, Ky.; sister, Cleo (Benny) Taylor of Turkey Creek, Ky. and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: Mercy Hospice and Palliative Care, P. O. Box 50640, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579.

I had the pleasure of working with Rose(in Myrtle Beach) quite a few years ago. Her laugh and beautiful smile I will always remember. My heart goes out to her family and friends in this very difficult time.
