Sheila Phillips Obituary

LORIS | Sheila M. Phillips, 56, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at her home due to complications.

She was born October 4, 1953 in Lancaster, S.C.  She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Morgan; her husband, Daniel Phillips; and her great-grandson, Daniel Collins.

She is survived by her mothers, Kathryn Scott Odom of Kershaw and Azilee N. Morgan of Lancaster.  She is also survived by her daughter, Melony Heath of Conway, and Casey Port and her husband, Dannie, of Loris; one brother, Michael Morgan and wife, Josie, of Myrtle Beach; two sisters, Melba Rape, and Wanda Ghent and husband, Scott, of Lancaster. She is also survived by three grand-daughters, Elizabeth Brown, Nicole Brown, and Cayla Port; and three great-grand-daughters, Autumn Castro, Armani Castro, and Hailey Collins. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2010 in the Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, with the Rev. Kendall Williams officiating.  The family will receive friends and family at the home of Melony Heath, 107 Oaktree Lane, Conway.
